Morgan Freeman explains his best acting tips and how he survived Hollywood for decades.
Morgan Freeman is a legend in the film industry. His deep voice, charm, and calm demeanor has made this American actor born in the middle of Memphis, Tennessee in the mid 1930s. Freeman would attended Los Angeles City College before serving several years in the US Air Force as a mechanic between 1955 and 1959. His first dramatic arts exposure was on the stage including appearing in an all-African American production of the exuberant musical Hello, Dolly!.

Since then, Freeman has worked on popular movies as Evan Almighty Batman Begins, The Dark Knight Rises and most recently, Oblivion alongside Tom Cruise.

But, how does man who has worked in Hollywood for decades keep doing it, while many actors struggle to survive? Well, Morgan Freeman recently sat down with the SAG-Foundation and discussed his acting career and most importantly, Freeman shared his best acting tips. Freeman talks about what it felt like to be blacklisted from Hollywood for nearly three years.
