‘Jessica Jones’ Krysten Ritter Reveals How She Survived as a Struggling Actor

Krysten Ritter reveals how she made it in Hollywood.

Jessica Jones is one of the most popular shows on Netflix. The comic-book hero series features actress Krysten Ritter as she aims defeat a villain terrorizing and manipulating the people of New York City. But before Ritter was reading lines for the next episode of Jessica Jones, Ritter was living with her acting teacher in Los Angeles.

In an interview with Sam JOnes of offCamera Ritter opened up about her relationship with acting teacher Marjorie Ballentine, with whom Ritter lived with for a period of time while she was trying to get involved in the film industry nine years ago.

Ritter explains that her relationship with Ballentine and Ballentine’s support helped her survive in Los Angeles and it made her a better actress.
