Beginner’s Guide to Acting: How to Not Go Crazy (VIDEO)

Typically, mental in the workplace is a topic that is not discussed with . But, actors are tasked with expressing extreme despair, rage, illness, dysfunctional, and violent experiences. These acting can trigger a guarded wound and can yield emotional problems on one's well-being and relationships.

Earlier this month, the SAG- Foundation released a video discussing mental health and provided ways on deal with physical and psychological issues after a movie, TV, or commercial has wrapped. The panel includes Dr. Thalia Goldstein, an Assistant Professor of Applied Developmental at George Mason University, Erin B. Mee an Assistant Arts Professor for the Undergraduate department at the Tisch School of The Arts – University, and several actors and a licensed mental health counselor.
