Slow motion is an amazing filmmaking technique that is used differently ranging from action scenes to comedy scenes. There are even times when slow motion is used for romantic scenes. In fact, Martin Scorsese likes to use it to put the audience in the frame of mind of his characters, we’re able to see what a particular character sees because it’s focused in slow motion. Meanwhile, Quentin Tarantino uses slow motion to make his characters seem cooler.
