The 3rd Annual Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship is looking for aspiring screenwriters.
Are you trying to break into the entertainment industry? Well let us help you figure out where to get started. One of the best places to build up your resume is by participating in fellowship programs. And the upcoming 3rd Annual Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship is looking for screenwriters.
Screencraft offers a wide array of screenwriting contests for short and genre-specific programs. But, in the latest Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship you can win a trip to Los Angeles and make connections with producers and “Hollywood mentors” by submitting your feature film script or original TV pilot script.
The contest is open to anyone 18 and older, worldwide. Unless, you made $20,000 or more this year from professional writing for film and TV. Here is a quick overview of submission criteria:
- Feature Screenplays must be no longer than 140 pages, Drama Television Pilots no longer than 70 pages and Comedy Television Pilots no longer than 40 pages (or 70 pages double-spaced sitcom pilots).
- Material should be submitted in industry-standard format, font, spacing and margins.
- It is strongly recommended that material be registered with the WGA and/or the U.S. Copyright Office.
- All submitted material must be original, and all rights must be wholly owned by the writer(s).
- All material must be submitted in PDF format or it will not be eligible.

When you submit your screenplay you can choose to pay $60 extra to receive 1 page of professional feedback on your work. The deadline is December 30th.
