‘The X-Files’ is coming back to TV and according to reports, the new season will film in Vancouver, Canada.
In an interview with CTV, actor William B. Davis, who played the Smoking Man in the original series confirmed that the conspiracy drama will be returning to Vancouver to film the new episodes.
Last week, FOX announced that the sci-fi TV show will be revived for six episodes. The groundbreaking show was filmed in Vancouver for the shows first five seasons.
Actors David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will both be reprising their roles as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.
‘The X-Files’ is not the only TV show to get a reboot in recent months. David Lynch’s Twin Peaks is expected to start filming in the next few weeks. In addition, ‘Coach’ starring Craig T. Nelson has been picked up for a 13-episode run on NBC.
