‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Finale Ratings Skyrocket

The Walking Dead’s season 6 finale hit a season high with over 14.2 million viewers.

Apparently, everyone and their mother wanted to see Negan for the first time. According to reports, the April 3rd episode averaged 14.2 million live-plus-same-day viewers over the course of the 90 minute episode. This is the second most watched episode with the first being the premiere back in October.

AMC struck oil with The Walking Dead as the show is easily ranked as the most watched show on television. However, it’s important to note that ratings for the season finale have dropped in comparison to the season 6 finale.

But, despite the high ratings, The Walking Dead season 6 finale is the lowest rated episode on IMDB. According to IMDB, The Walking Dead’s “Last Day on Earth” currently has a rating of 5.8/10 with over 9,000 reviews. And thousands of people have left harsh reviews about the season 6 finale.
