Was Vin Diesel Singing Paul Walker Tribute Song a Publicity Stunt?

Date:

Does this video prove that Vin Diesel’s singing that Paul Walker Tribute song a publicity stunt?

‘Furious 7’ ended with a highly emotional tribute sequence to Paul Walker set to Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again,” which many found sweet and depressing. Then Vin Diesel sang the song during a interview, and everyone started crying with many people thinking it was so sweet of him trying to sing a happy song when he was still so sad. Then, when he was a presenter at the MTV Movie Awards, he sang it again, unprompted, probably because people liked it so much the first time.

But, in a recently revealed interview with Italian journalist Andrea Esposito, Vin Diesel is singing the same song AGAIN. This interview was uploaded a week BEFORE the one that went viral, with the same title. Which I guess would make it slightly less weird if it had just come out this week?

This makes Vin Diesel’s appearance at the MTV Movie Awards creepy and weird as if Paul Walker’s death is all a part of a pre-planned media strategy. It’s okay to be sad about losing a fellow actor, but it’s not okay to to use someone’s death as a way to make money and make people like you. That just seems evil. But, I guess it worked. ‘Furious 7’ is on track to be the number one movie for the third week in a row. In addition, ‘Furious 7’ soundtrack will be the number one album in the country.
