The Atlanta filmed production, Hindsight, was just renewed by VH1.
According to Deadline, VH! has picked up the hour long series for a second season.
From Deadline:
Hindsight is the latest project driving VH1’s push into the scripted genre. The series comes on the heels of the network’s original movie Drumline: A New Beat, which was the #1 non-sports telecast on cable of the night of its premiere on October 27th, according to the network. VH1’s hit scripted series Hit The Floor recently wrapped its second season as the number one ad-supported cable scripted drama among women 18-49, and is currently in production for season 3.
‘Hindsight’ stars Laura Ramsey as Becca, who on the eve of her second wedding in 2015, starts having regrets about her life, her career, and soon to be second husband, Andy (Nick Clifford). Suddenly, she is transported back in time twenty years to the morning of her first wedding day in 1995, when she’s about to marry her first husband giving Becca the chance to fix all of her mistakes.
The series has received a score of 72 on Metacritic, indicating generally favorable reviews based on eight critics. The review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reports an average score of 7 out of 10 from six reviews and a 100% positive review rate from approved critics. According to TV Series Finale, Hindsight had a 0.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 260,000 total viewers.
