Over the last few years, Kyrie Irving has released his Uncle Drew alter-ego through a popular video series alongside Pepsi. Now that Irving has launched a new chapter in his career with the Boston Celtics, the guard will officially make his debut in Hollywood with his Uncle Drew character.
The movie centers around the NYC’s streetball culture by placing Uncle Drew in the position of bridging the gap between the old school and new generations of the sport. The movie features Shaq, Nate Robinson, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, Lisa Leslie, and many more. The movie is expected to mix comedy and sports into a fun experience for everyone.
