Are people still interested in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show?
In the 1990s and early 2000s the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was a must-see event. Kanye West and Jay-Z are known for their performances several years ago. But, as Kendall Jenner becomes a Victoria’s Secret model and a new generation of fans emerge, people seem to care less and less about the scantily clothed fashion models.
According to a report, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show ratings have plummeted by 32% in comparison to last year. In fact, only 6.6 million people got up and tuned in to see what the Victoria’s Secret models were up to in the fashion show. Despite dropping in total viewers, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show had the lead in the key demographic of 18 to 49 year olds but, lost in the number of people watching to NBC’s Chicago Fire.
