If you watch NBC’s hit TV series This Is Us, you may have noticed the actor who plays Toby, Chris Sullivan, wears a fat suit for the role.
His co-star Kelechi Watson, who plays Beth, confirmed in an interview with US Weekly at a press event last January.
Then, earlier this month, Sullivan brought up the costume decision on the show The Real, jokingly saying “something on television is a lie?!”

Recently, Chrissy Metz, who plays his love interest, gave her perspective on the show when a caller on Watch What Happens Live called Sullivan having to wear the suit “ridiculous”
But, fans on Twitter lambasted the show for having Chris Sullivan wear a fat suit.

This news comes after actress Chrissy Metz had only 84 cents in her pocket before she landed a role on the show.
