Last summer, Stranger Things was a huge hit and quickly became a pop cultural sensation. One of the biggest stars to come out of the show was Millie Bobby Brown’s character Eleven. at only 13 years old, Brown’s intense role earned her a screen actors Guild nomination but on Sunday nights, she won her first acting award at the MTV movie and TV awards. But it also showed that the group of kid actors developed a family bond that you only see once in a few years.
During her award speech, you can easily see that the Atlanta film production is tight and ask more of like a close family – a second family. During her speech Brown wiped away tears saying:
“I want to thank the cast and crew for being my second family, you guys I love you.
I want to thank the Duffer Brothers because they’ve created a badass, female, iconic character that I’ve got the honor to play.”
Congrats on your #MTVAward, @milliebbrown ? pic.twitter.com/I47TMkiOVp
