Roseanne was one of the biggest TV shows in the 90s, and it seems like the show is making a comeback. According to reports, the show is getting revived with the key cast members reprising the roles. In fact, Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, and Sara Gilbert are reportedly joining the TV series.
Multiple networks are bidding on the show. In fact, Netflix, which has released several reboots of classic sitcoms including Full House and Gilmore Girls, is considering buying the TV series.
Roseanne became a hit tv show after showing the working class American family. The tv show centered around the Conners, who were struggling to afford life’s luxuries. The TV series ran for nine seasons on ABC. On May 20 it will be the show’s 20th anniversary of the show’s series finale, which had over 16 million viewers. The show received several Emmy nominations and helped launch the career of John Goodman.
In a recent Goodman interview, the actor was happy about doing a Roseanne reboot. “Oh, hell yes … if we could get everyone together,” he told co-host, Julie Chen. “The Big R [Barr] and I did a pilot about five years ago that didn’t go anywhere … but we were very happy to work together.”
