Netflix Upgrades Background Actor to Principal Speaking Role

Netflix upgrades background extra to a speaking role on the new TV series Ingobnerable.

Vivienne Chang Casting posted on Facebook on Friday, announcing the big news that producers upgraded a background extra working on set for the day to a principal speaking role on the new TV show.

In Ingobernable, which has an order for 20 episodes stars Kate Del Castillo, the actress most recently known for the El Chapo controversy, will play Irene Urzua, the wife of Mexico’s president. A woman with a strong personality, conviction and clear ideas, Urzua is capable of “creating a president, leaving a president and killing a president.”
