Netflix is Developing New ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ Series

Netflix is making new Chronicles of Narnia TV shows and movies.

Netflix has announced their plans for a new original series. After the streaming network acquired the rights to The Chronicles of Narnia, a series of children’s books, Netflix is planning on creating series adaptations of the seven books with both “new series and film projects.”

Narnia has been adapted to film and TV shows several times int he most. The movies distributed by Disney and 20th Century Fox between 2005 and 2010 are arguably the most popular adaptations to date. According to Netflix, this will be the first time that a single company will hold the rights to the series, meaning that this could be the first time Narnia is adapted in its entirety.

In other entertainment news, Netflix’s new Jamie Foxx movie has started production and is now casting car owners.
