MTV announced on Monday that the network will be reviving Jersey Shore.
Jersey Shore Family Vacation is set to air on the network in 2018, reuniting the show’s original reality stars Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio,” Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.
The only person who will not appear in the show will be Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, who is best known for her romance with Ronnie.
MTV announced their plans for the highly anticipated reunion during Monday’s premiere episode of its latest reality show, MTV Floribama Shore, which centers around eight roommates partying in Panama City.
Jersey Shore aired for six seasons from 2009 to 2012. IT went on to create several spin-offs including Geordie Shore, Gandia Shore, Warsaw Shore and Acapulco Shore.
