Mission: Impossible 6 is coming soon.
Paramount announced the release dates for several feature films, including the next installment in Tom Cruise’s hit box office franchise, Mission: Impossible. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mission: Impossible 6 will hit theaters on July 27, 2018.
Mission Impossible is the 18th highest grossing film series of all time with over $2 billion worldwide. The latest Mission: Impossible Movie, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation was huge in the box office. The movie went on to gross $195 million in North America and $682 million worldwide, becoming the second highest-grossing film in the series.
On July 28, Tom Cruise confirmed on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart that a sixth Mission: Impossible film was being developed and will, it is hoped, begin production in 2016. Christopher McQuarrie announced that he will be returning to direct the sixth film and Ferguson will be reprising her role as Ilsa Faust as well.
