The new season of The X-Files could start shooting as early as this summer.
According to reports, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have greed for a new sixth season of ‘The X-Files’.
Earlier this year, Fox co-chairman Gary Newman confirmed that the network is planning on bringing back ‘The X-Files’ for a new season as long as David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, and the show’s creator are all available to work. Now according to a report by TV Wise, Fox is close to green lighting a six to eight episode season.
A shortened season would allow for both actors and the show’s creator to work on the season this summer.
An official announcement is expected next month.
