According to reports, The Bachelor decreased in ratings from the season premiere which aired last Monday.

The Bachelor, tying The Celebrity Apprentice for the night, fell half of a ratings point from last week’s premiere to pull a series low 1.7 among adults 18-49. That same-day drop led into an even Castle, tying its low of a 1.4 in the key demo.

Maybe ratings will increase over time? Unlike previous seasons, this season kicked off for a three-hour live premiere event. It will travel to exotic locales in San Francisco, Santa Fe, New Mexico, Deadwood, South Dakota,Arlington, Iowa, and to the Indonesian island of Bali. Jimmy Kimmel Live! host Jimmy Kimmel will take over for one episode and a performance from Big & Rich.
