Netflix has revealed some pretty interesting stats that show how we include Netflix into our love life.
Emerging right in that Valentine’s Day build-up, Netflix has showcased the results of their poll on how its service impacts dating habits. Using data pulled from over 1,000 Americans aged 18 to 39, their stats show we can be extremely judgemental when it comes to viewing preferences.
- 25% of people surveyed found that they considered a person more attractive based on the programs they watched, a phenomenon Netflix has called “show goggled.”
- 27% of people surveyed “insisted” that show compatibility is important.
- 58% of respondents revealed they added movies and TV shows to their profile to in order for people to find them more attractive.
- 51% of those polled considered sharing your Netflix Password to be a big deal and a huge sign that a relationship has turned serious.
- 17% of users won’t even share their Netflix password unless they are engaged.
