Kim Kardashian’s Kimoji App is Recording Everything You Type

Date:

Kim Kardashian’s new Kimoji app has made the reality star over a million dollars in a matter of a few days but did you know the app is recording everything you type?

According to a new report, Kim Kardashian’s new Kimoji app is able to access anything users type or have typed on their smart phones. In fact, a warning when downloading the app says “this could include sensitive information like your credit card number or street address.

From Daily Mail:

The program can collect anything a user types or has typed in the past including credit card details – leading to fears that users’ confidential information is at risk.

Before users download the app they are warned; ‘Full access allows the developer of this keyboard to transmit anything you type, including things you have previously typed with this keyboard.

‘This could include sensitive information like your credit card number or street address.’

But, that didn’t stop millions of fans of Kim Kardashian. The app is so popular it crashed Apple’s App Store on Monday.

But, what is the Kimoji app?

For $1.99, the Kimoji app gives users images of Kim in emoji picture form and allows them to use it in their text messages and social media updates. Kim Kardashian tweeted Monday afternoon her excitement: ‘Ahhhhhhhh I still can’t believe we broke the entire App Store!!!! #KIMOJI’

Should you download the Kimoji app?

Well, apps are frequently hacked and private information is routinely distributed online. For example, BGR recently broke down every app that was hacked in recent history, which includes the highly popular InstaFollower. Instafollower had thousands of users private information stolen through hacking attempts.
