Taco Bell is working on a delivery service, giving you no reason to blame producers for bad food ever again.
Just when you didn’t think it was easy enough to find a Taco Bell conviently located on every corner, the Bell is one step ahead of you.
According to reports, Taco Bell’s CEO is considering offering its customers the ability to get their Doritos Locos Tacos delivered.
From Complex:
The Bell is nothing but scrappy, proving time after time that they’re willing to roll the dice on a concept even if it doesn’t end up sticking around. Wedged between Dunkin Donuts and Burger King, Taco Bell rests at a respectable 6th in the top 10 of fast food consumed by Americans according to this 2014 sales statistic. The Bell’s CEO, Brian Niccol has the vision to challenge the delivery monopoly held by pizza joints for decades, he’s just got to iron out the details. Niccol told Nation’s Restaurant News about the challenges of rolling out a viable delivery service.
“Even though it’s the No. 1 request from consumers, we have to make sure we can give them an experience that’s consistent with Taco Bell. We have to figure it out, and I can tell you right now we don’t have it figured out.”
What’s next? McDonald’s personal chef ordered to your door? Oh, the possibilities.
