Simon Cowell plans on making a Betty Boop movie. The creator of ‘American Idol’, Simon Cowel has recently teamed up with the creators of the ‘Lego Movie’ to turn the animated character, Betty Boop into a major motion picture.

Cowell and his production company, Syco Entertainment are working with Animal Logic Entertainment’s executives to produce a new comedy featuring the 1920’s Betty Boop.
Simon Cowell discussed his plans on the feature film in a recent interview, “Betty is an icon and one of the biggest stars in the world. I’m thrilled to be working with her. Betty, I’ve worked with some serious divas but I think you could be the biggest of them all!”

According to Wikipedia, Betty Boop was created by Max Fleischer. Betty Boop wore a revealing dress that displayed her curvaceous figure. Despite having been toned down in the mid-1930s as a result of the Hays Code (moral censorship guidelines that governed the production of most United States motion pictures released by major studios from 1930 to 1968) to appear more modest, she became one of the best-known and popular cartoon characters in the world.
