Date:

It’s official: ‘Roots’ is returning to TV.

One of TV’s most successful miniseries will be getting the reboot treatment and air across History, A&E and Lifetime netwokrs.

According to reports, Ride Along director, Will Packer, will executive produce the series alongside the original ‘Roots’ star LeVar Burton. The series will air in 2016.
