The 66th annual Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced today at the TV Academy in North Hollywood.
Netflix did well with nominations in both comedy and drama categories including Orange is the New Black and House of Cards.
HBO did well as well with nominations for Silicon Valley, Veep, Game of Thrones and True Detective.
Both series stars, Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson received nominations in the actor category, alongside Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm.
AMC also received a nomination for Breaking Bad.
The top contenders in the comedy category include Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory and FX’s Louie.
