‘Pawn Stars’ Reality Star Arrested on Drugs and Weapon Charges

Pawn Stars‘ reality star, Chumlee, was arrested on weapon and drug charges.

The long-haired wearing Austin Lee Russell developed a huge cult following for his role in the History Channel reality show Pawn Stars. His unique sense of humor and off-the-wall name, Chumlee, became an overnight hit after the show debuted in 2009. The longtime employee of Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, is now in hot water.

On Wednesday, Russell was arrested on felony weapon and drug charges, according to the AP. Police said in a statement that the 33-year-old was taken into custody after officers searched his home in South West Las Vegas as part of a sexual assault investigation. Police officers found methamphetamine, marijuana and at least one gun.

His bail was set at $62,000.
