The highly anticipated thriller series is based on Gaiman’s popular graphic novels. Stephen Fry, Patton Oswalt, and Gwendolyn Christie will star in the drama. Mark Hamill will provide the voice of Merv Pumpkinhead, the kingdom’s resident handyman. The teaser trailer shows what to expect from Netflix’s attempt to re-create magical worlds.
Like the graphic novels, The Sandman series will chronicle the exploits of the King of Dreams, better known as Morpheus, as he breaks out of imprisonment and makes his way back to his realm. While many issues and individuals, such as detective Johanna Constantine and Corinthian, are not particularly pleased by the situation, Morpheus manages through difficulties and continues his mission.
The teaser trailer for The Sandman is here. It will premiere on Netflix soon.
