On Tuesday, NeNe Leakes, former Atlanta Housewife turned Broadway star, stopped by The View to promote her new role in Chicago. Unfortunately for her, things didn’t go as planned.
The interview started off when The View started asking difficult questions about the reality star’s personal life, including questions about why NeNe got a divorce if she loves being married so much.
According to Radar, Leakes immediately began to bite back at Joy Behar, even mocking her questions during the segment.
After the show, NeNe took to Twitter to release the following statement, which she quickly deleted when she realized that negative publicity wasn’t going to do her any favors.
“Just sat down with a bunch of mean girls turning up their noses, looking u up & down as if u don’t belong,” the 47-year-old wrote, adding, “the HATE was so real & SAD.”

Ouch. It must be hard to survive on a lifestyle of creating drama for a reality show, when you no longer have a reality show to create drama for.
