John Boyega tweeted early Saturday morning that he was stuck in Atlanta because of heavy snow, saying, “Wow ATL. Looks like no one’s leaving! Guess I’ll start a family now…”
Heavy snowfall hit metro Atlanta starting on Friday, with many people without power. An hour later, Boyega tweeted he’s “trying to get back for the LA premiere! I actually NEED a pilot !!!”
Boyega later tweeted he “made it” to the premiere, hours after sharing he might have been stuck in Atlanta due to the heavy snowfall.

“I made it! Without luggage but wooooooooohoooo!” tweeted the 25-year-old star (and that’s 13 “o’s,” in case you were wondering). “As if weather can stop a Nigerian kmt.”
He responded to a fan asking if if Harrison Ford could fly him in, with Boyega quipping “Harrison will land that ship in the damn auditorium!”
Mark Hamill joined in the conversation telling Boyega to “only fly with Harrison on green-screen, son. #FatherlyAdvice.”
Boyega responded with an enthusiastic “Thanks dad !”
