Migos are Working on a Script for an Upcoming Movie

Date:

A Migos movie may be coming soon. The Atlanta rap group talked with Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show last Monday and revealed that they have already started thinking about reaching out into other markets outside of music, including the film industry.

Loewe asked the group about their interests other than music, to which Offest said that the group is looking to create movies. Later, he asked Quavo more about their filmmaking plans.

“I’m a ’90s baby, and all my favorite movies got all the dope artists in them,” Quavo said before listing the movies that inspired him to pick up the pen: “JuiceMenace II Society, all the Snoop Dogg movies, Master P movies, I Got The Hook-UpBaller Blockin, Big Tymers movies. Even Ice Cube, Cube killed it. That’s what we’re doing right now; we’re looking into the script.”

Migos’ acting debut took place in 2015 when the group got their first acting job on Donald Glover’s hit TV series Atlanta.
