Dwayne Johnson reveals the Jumanji movie is actually a sequel and not a reboot.
In between the Fast & Furious on set beef between Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Vin Diesel, The Rock revealed some interesting hints about his next movie, Jumanji.
Tucked into Johnson’s Instagram message thanking the Fast 8 team after wrapping filming is a note of clarification about this new Jumanji offering.
“And now in two weeks I’ll reunite with ol’ friends Kevin Hart & Jack Black and we have the honor to introduce a whole new generation to the amazing world of #JUMANJI,” shared Johnson on his current schedule. “For the record we are NOT making a reboot, but rather a continuation of the awesome JUMANJI story.”
There you go, it is not a reboot. This is probably good news for everyone who was worried that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was going to replace Robin Williams in the next Juamnji movie. But, what do you imagine is in store for The Rock’s Jumanji when it hits theaters? Until then all we can do is wait and see.
