Jennifer Aniston is back in Atlanta to film in the new movie ‘Yellow Birds’.
According to casting calls released by Marinella Hume Casting, ‘Yellow Birds’ will film in Atlanta, Georgia and casting directors are now casting extras, stand-ins and crew.
Deadline reports that ‘Yellow Bird’ features Jack Huston and Jennifer Aniston in a movie based on the novel by Iraq War vet Kevin Powers. The movie marks the movie to start filming for Mark Canton and Courtney Solomon’s Cinelou Films.
Yellow Birds centers around two young soldiers who become friends in boot camp and the oldest promises to take care of his friend, but it becomes harder and harder in the middle of a war.
Jack Huston plays Staff Sgt. Sterling while Jennifer Aniston plays the younger boy’s mother.
Jack Huston will lead the project after starring in the upcoming popular action remake Ben-Hur for MGM and Paramount Pictures. Huston is best known for playing a hitman in HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. The British actor was set to play Brandon Lee in the remake of The Crow before Relativity pictures filed bankruptcy.
This will be Jennifer Aniston’s second movie to film in Atlanta, Georgia this year. Her previous movie, Mother’s Day, starring Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston.
