Liam Neeson‘s next project, “The Minuteman” is ramping up production and will film in New Mexico.
According to reports, the new movie, produced by Azil Productions, LLC, will begin principal photography in September in To'Hajilee Pueblo, Albuquerque, Jemez Pueblo, Belen, and Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
“This is another example of how productions are going to all parts of the state to find locations that fit their story,” said Mew Mexico Cabinet Secretary Alicia J. Keyes. “We are pleased that Minuteman has discovered the tribal and rural communities that make New Mexico unique.”
The movie will hire 90 New Mexico crew members, 15 New Mexico actors, and 150 New Mexico background actors.
The feature is directed by Robert Lorenz, who is known for directing “Trouble with the Curve” and will be produced by Warren Goz (“Trading Paint”), Eric Gold (“Trading Paint”) and Tai Duncan, (“How It Ends,” “Honest Thief”), and Mark Williams (“Ozark,” “Honest Thief).
