Suicide Squad’s Ike Barinholtz shares behind the scenes details in a new interview with Howard Stern.
Ike Barinholtz, who is rumored to be playing Dr. Hugo Strange in Suicide Squad, recently sat down with Howard Stern to discuss the upcoming feature film. Instead of discussing the details behind the movie, Barinholtz decided to discuss some of the misadventures between the cast and crew on set of Suicide Squad.
First off, did you know Margot Robbie has a tattoo gun and would get drunk with people and offer them free tattoos? Yup, those set photos of people getting tattooed were not publicity stunts. Robbie apparently brought the tattoo gun with her and according to Barinholtz, one crew member tried to play it cool when his tattoo was misspelled.
“And one of the guys she tattooed, she made a big typo. And he was like, ‘oh it’s cool, don’t worry about it!’”
Barinholtz also recounted teh story of method actor Jared Leto giving Margot Robbie a live rat and giving the rest the suicide squad a dead pig, but there’s an added detail: the dead pig was filled with bullets. In addition, Jared Leto had his “kind of lieutenant” deliver the gifts from Mr. J.
Barinholtz also shared a story about the time Will Smith spent a ton of money throwing a huge party, filled with soul food, re-airing of the Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather fight everyone missed during filming earlier that day, and performed 10 songs by him and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
