Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel is expected to film this summer in Atlanta, Georgia.
Spider-Man: Homecoming was a major hit in the box-office, taking in $880 million worldwide and proving the Marvel franchise is still extremely popular.
According to reports, filming for the untitled sequel is set to commence June 1, 2018, and will last until September. The website states that production is assumed to return to Atlanta (where the first film was shot), and that director Jon Watts might be filming in Berlin as well.
The sequel is also rumored to feature Spider-man’s famous love interest, Gwen Stacy, as a European exchange student.
The sequel hits theaters on July 5, 2019.
