Margot Robbie reveals she wants to play Harley Quinn forever.
Suicide Squad is one of the most popular summer movies in history. In fact, the super villain thriller just broke records for the biggest August opening in film history, so it’s reasonable to believe that we will soon see sequels and spin-offs to the new film franchise. But are the stars interested in making more of these movies?
Comic Book recently asked Margot Robbie and Jai Courtney, who, not surprisingly, responded by saying they are interested in working in the film franchise. Courtney implied that everyone signed for “a few movies,” while Robbie responded by saying she would like to play Harley Quinn “forever”.
“I hope forever. I really, I could play Harley for a long time. I don’t know how long. We’ve signed on, I mean I think everyone’s committed to a couple of films. […] There’s so much you can do. They’re the sort of characters that you could keep exploring and find so many more, so much more to do.”
Margot Robbie was one of the biggest features of Suicide Squad with critics praising her performance in the movie. The co-creator of the character even said Robbie “nailed it” as Quinn. And, hey, she already stole the jacket and baseball bat from the set, so she could show up in wardrobe already. That saves time.
