Danny McBride is partnering with director David Gordon Green to remake the legendary horror franchise Halloween, the movie’s original director John Carpenter revealed on Facebook on Thursday.
According to reports, Gordon Green and Danny McBride will write the script together, and Gordon Green will direct the project for Miramax, which is expected to hit theaters on October 19, 2018.
The original 1978 Halloween movie featured Michael Myers, a serial killer who preyed on teenagers. It launched ten films and generated $400 million worldwide at the box office.
