George Lucas: I “Really Liked” Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Date:

It looks as though Star Wars: The Force Awakens has received the ultimate seal of approval from George Lucas himself.

George Lucas, the creator and director of Star Wars Episodes 1-4, believes that the latest Star Wars movie is amazing. Kathleen Kennedy, Lucasfilm president, says Lucas “really liked” the latest installment in the franchise and will attend this month’s secret Los Angeles and London premiere, according to reports.

Kennedy told The Hollywood Reporter that George Lucas didn’t really enjoy being sidelined in the production process of Star Wars but, “at the same time, he really wanted to step away.”

George Lucas told The Washington Post, “I gotta go to the wedding. My ex will be there, my new wife will be there, but I’m going to have to take a very deep breath and be a good person and sit through it and just enjoy the moment.”
