Kevin Hart’s latest feature film Night School is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia. As a result, background actors are pouring into sets to provide life to the background of Hart’s new movie. Luckily for one background extra, their dreams were answered as a background actor was upgraded to a speaking role. According to Marinella Hume, the extra casting director behind Kevin Hart’s new movie, a background actor was upgraded to a speaking role last week. The casting company wrote on Facebook, “UPGRADE BUTTON HAS BEEN PUSHED!!!”
This is not the first time this has happened. Tyler Perry has a history of upgrading background extras to speaking roles.
