According to reports, Apple was only days away from purchasing Time Warner, the home of Batman and Game of Thrones. Now, Apple is going to spend “hundreds of millions of dollars” a year in order to create new content ranging from music documentaries to original series. Apple, is rumored to even start their own network.

In addition, Apple may still buy a movie studio. The only reason why Time Warner and Apple deal never worked out is that it had the potential to alienate other movie studios and music labels from working with Apple. But, if Apple wanted to buy a movie studio, the company could easily afford it. According to reports, Apple currently has about $233 billion worth of cash and the company is looking to spend it.
