Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell are teaming up for ‘A Christmas Carol’ remake.
Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds are teaming up for a musical remake of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” Their exact roles are unknown. However, according to reports, John Morris and Sean Anders (“Daddy’s Home,” “We’re The Millers”) will be directing the upcoming movie.
Dickens’ original story was published in 1843 and centered around the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an old businessman who receives a visit from the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley, along with the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Each spirit shows Scrooge a lesson from his past, present, and future, eventually making him a nicer man and find the true meaning of Christmas.
Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds have had a pretty big year. Will Ferrell is making appearances in James Franco’s “Zeroviller,” Netflix’s “Between Two Ferns: The Movie” and “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part” and Reynolds starring “Hobbs & Shawe,” “Six Underground,” and “Detective Pikachu u.”
