Miley Cyrus will host this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
It’s official, Miley Cyrus is set to host this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. The pop star revealed the news on social media, posting a selfie in an alien costume wearing a sandwich sign saying, “MTV won’t let me perform” and “So I’m hosting this year’s VMAs.”
Last year’s award show, Miley Cyrus made headlines after sending a homeless 22-year old to accept her video of the year award for her song “Wrecking Ball” as part of a campaign to raise awareness of money and homeless youth.
The MTV Video Music Awards will air August 30th at 9 p.m. on MTV.
