The sequel to the wildly successful 2012 male stripper movie is back and filming is set to begin this Fall.
Filming is set to begin without an announcement of a new director or if a script has been completed. But, in an interview with Collider, Manganiello revealed that news about the proejct is coming soon, and he’s ready to follow up on the “most fun” that he has ever had.
“Yeah, it’s gonna happen this fall. I think they’re going to announce it soon. It’s crazy. I didn’t think that would be my first franchise. I never thought that would ever be the direction of my career. But that said, it’s just proof that I don’t know best, all the time. It was the most fun I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to get back in and mix it up with those guys.” (Via Collider)
Collider also pointed out that it is rumored that Channing Tatum is expected to direct this project with his associate Reid Carolin with the help of Steven Soderbergh.
