‘Luke Cage’ Season 2 is Now Filming in New York

Production has officially started on the second season of Marvel’s Luke Cage. According to reports, earlier this week a tweet revealed that filming had begun in Port Washington, New York. Last season, Luke Cage films under the working title TIARA and it seems like season two will be doing the same. A second tweet revealed that Luke Cage may also be filming in another location in Yonkers, New York. While this isn’t confirmed, it is possible that the scenes may be Luke Cage related. In addition, actress Simone Messick confirmed that the cast as begun training for season two.

While the start of production may have caught many people off guard, it is exciting to know that Marvel is currently working on their hit TV series. Season one ended with Luke Cage pacing is passed and heading back to jail. The next part of his story will center around The Defenders which airs this August 18 on Netflix.
