Where to watch The Interview this Christmas holiday.
Sony is allowing theaters to screen The Interview after all. However, since none of the major theater chains have announced plans to show the film, moviegoers will have to head to indie theaters and smaller circuits to find the movie. As of midday Tuesday, 200 theaters around the United States have allowed the movie to hit theaters.
However, the nation biggest chains have all decided to pull the movie after Sony allowed exhibitors to make the decision, have not yet weighed in on their plans, but will likely not show the film as there are also plans to release it on VOD.
