Last July, the murder of an aspiring actress rocked the Alanna film community. According to reports, police say someone shot aspiring actress Jokisha Brown while she sat in her car on Cheshire Bridge Road in Atlanta.
According to CBS46, one witness said he noticed a man standing across the street from the business complex for several hours before the murder. “He was talking on his cell phone. I didn’t get a really good look at the guy, but it seemed odd to me as I pulled out.”
Now, nearly a year later a person of interest wanted for questioning in the killing of the Atlanta actress was arrested last week in Louisiana. Fox 5 Atlanta reports, Alfredo L. Capote, 30, was wanted on charges in connection with the 2016 rape, armed robbery, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and aggravated assault of the Atlanta aspiring actress. Capote is also charged with two counts of forgery and operating at a counterfeit check cashing ring in Louisiana.
Kisha Brown was an aspiring actress and model. Her friends and family told reporters she had been a previous victim of a violent abduction from her home in Atlanta. She only escaped by jumping out of a moving car and since then she “feared for her life that something might happen to her.”
