LeBron James is on fire! After defeating the Brooklyn Nets last night in the opening game of the second round of the NBA semifinals, James tweeted that he has join the cast of the new movie Trainwreck.
Trainwreck is Universal comedy that Judd Apatow will direct and will feature Method Man (Cliff Smith), Amy Schumer. James joins her, Bill Hader, Brie Larson, Colin Quinn, Vanessa Bayer, Tilda Swinton, John Cena and Mike Birbiglia.
Amy Schumer wrote the script for this production but, details surrounding the movie are being kept under wraps.
This is LeBron James second feature film that he has lined up. The first production, Ballers, features Kevin Hart and highlights the early years of LeBron James and his high school teammates. Ballers is produced by Terence and Winter, along side James’ manager, Maverick Carter.
But, will LeBron James‘ film career end up being a Trainwreck? Not many basketball players have ended up with a successful film career besides Michael Jordan (Space Jam) and Ray Allen (I Got Game). Shaquille O’Neal is still teased about his work in the movie Kazaam.
