It is always interesting to see where a majority of the world’s best actors are from. This infographic does just that.
showcasecinemas.co.uk took the time and put the Academy Awards winning actors from 1929 to 2014 into a Google Map and showed where all the award winning actors are born.
Interesting things to note:
- Despite, Hollywood, California being the home to film industry, very few of the best actors are actually from the west coast.
- Large majority of the world’s best actors come from the Northeast.
- The world’s best actresses are found on the West Coast than male actors.
