Johnny Depp’s wife skips court after illegally smuggling dogs in Australia.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Johnny Depp’s wife, Amber Heard, didn’t show up to Australian court (again) of the drug smuggling controversy.
Apparently, the 29 year-old actress was charged with two counts of breaking Australia’s strict quarantine policy after she illegally smuggled her two dogs, Pistol and Boo, two Yorkshire Terriers on a private plane in May.
At the time, Amber Heard was visiting her husband Johnny Depp who was in Australia shooting the fifth movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
The incident sparked an international controversy and Australia’s Minister for Agriculture Barnaby Joyce threatened to kill the dogs if they were not immediately removed.
But, Australia may have to get Dog the Bounty Hunter after Amber Hard, after telling Australian morning show Sunrise that she and Depp would never return to Australia.
The Guardian also revealed that this is the third time the Australian court has asked Heard to go to court over the illegal dog smuggling.
